The Italeri Model Kits 4715 is a 1:12 scale model of the Fiat 500 F from 1968, known as the "Upgraded Edition." Italeri is a well-regarded brand in the model kit industry, known for its high-quality kits that appeal to both beginner and advanced model builders.
The Fiat 500 F is an iconic car, often celebrated for its unique design and historical significance in the post-war automotive industry. Here are some key details and features that you might find in a model kit like this:
1. **Scale and Size**: At a 1:12 scale, this model kit is relatively large, allowing for more detailed parts and a more impressive display once completed.
2. **Parts and Assembly**: The kit typically includes many individual parts that require assembly. This could encompass everything from the engine and chassis to the interior detailing and external bodywork. The upgraded edition suggests enhanced features or additional detailing parts compared to a standard version.
3. **Materials**: Model kits often include plastic parts, but may also feature metal, rubber, and other materials for more realistic reproduction. Tires, for instance, might be made of rubber.
4. **Instructions**: Italeri kits usually come with detailed assembly instructions, often accompanied by diagrams to guide the builder through the process.
5. **Painting and Decals**: The kit might require painting to achieve an authentic look, and it often includes decals to replicate the branding and other design elements found on the original car.
6. **Skill Level**: Given the scale and designation as an "upgraded edition," this kit might be best suited for intermediate to experienced modelers. It likely demands patience and precision.
7. **Historical Context**: The Fiat 500 F was a part of the 500 series known for being a symbol of Italian automotive design and urban mobility in the 1960s. It featured a small, efficient engine and compact design, making it a popular choice in Europe.
This model kit would appeal to modelers interested in classic cars, especially those with a passion for vintage Italian automobiles. Completing the kit not only provides the satisfaction of building a detailed replica but also offers an opportunity to learn more about this iconic vehicle's history and design.

The "Nuova 500" was produced by Fiat from 1957 to 1975. It is a real icon on four wheels and one of the symbols of “made in Italy”. Its unique and recognizable design is famous all over the World. When the small car was set up by the Italian car manufacturer, its goal was simple: to introduce on the market at a very affordable price a new compact car able to enlarge the number of potential customers. Furthermore the new car should be easy to drive, even in the city traffic, and provide very low running costs. The “Fiat 500” was released on the market in July 1957 and it was immediately a success. In 1965 was introduced the 500F, the version with the largest number of units produced. Easily recognizable for the front-hinged doors, in line with the new laws, the Fiat 500F adopted several technical and aesthetic improved solutions as the new frame and the wider windscreen. The Fiat 500F is, still today, the most “classic” version of the whole 500 production and it remains in the heart of a huge number of car fans.
